    hospitable owner
    substantial breakfast
    peaceful garden
    curtain door
    privacy issue

The owner, Luisa, was hospitable and attentive. Each morning, I enjoyed a substantial breakfast with local fruits and a warm Mexican dish. The hotel had a peaceful garden and was conveniently located near the Malecon.

    Curtain instead of a door.

This hotel was beautifully decorated, we felt like home. We got an upgrade to a clean room with climate control, a dining area and a seating area. The breakfast was good with equally delicate salsa as local honey; the staff was affable. The whole experience was very relaxing, nothing too much trouble, would recomand.

    beautiful atmosphere
    friendly owner
    delicious breakfast
    privacy curtain

Loved staying at Mantarraya Outpost! The atmosphere seemed like a cozy retreat. The morning breakfast was a delight, served fresh with local fruits and a warm Mexican dish that changed daily. Luisa, the owner. She quickly booked a tour for us and shared helpful local tips. The Queen Room was clean, beautifully decorated, and had an amazing bed. I enjoyed relaxing by the pool and in the garden area. Parking was easy on the street right in front. The only thing I noticed was a bit less privacy due to the curtain instead of a door. But that didn't overshadow the wonderful experience.

I found everything amazing, recommend it to others. Also, location was unbeatable, within a close distance from a Catholic temple. The area was safe, an ideal base for me...

    charming owner
    great breakfast
    beautiful decor
    privacy concern

Luisa is such a gem, offering awesome breakfast and local tips. The decor is beautiful and homey. The only downside is the extra privacy with a curtain instead of a door. I can't recommend this place enough!

    charming decor
    cozy atmosphere
    unpleasant odors

The room had charming decor with a cozy atmosphere, .

Sewage smells permeated from the bathroom drains. The mattress felt uncomfortably hard, and the lack of amenities such as a coffee machine, TV, and only one small pillow per person was disappointing. Unsecured off-street parking offered little peace of mind. Paid too much for what was ultimately a subpar experience.

    delicious breakfast
    relaxing garden
    great location
    limited privacy
    minor detail

Oh man, the breakfast here was a game changer! I indulged in a fantastic vegetarian couscous, and let's not forget about the chill vibes in the garden area, perfect for a relaxing morning. Plus, I loved how the place is just a stone's throw from the Malecon and amazing eateries like Mariscos La Pajarera and Estancia Uruguaya.

Honestly, I could argue everything shined during our three-night stay, but if I had to nitpick, I'd say the curtain instead of a door offered a tad less privacy. Still, it was a minor detail in an otherwise stellar experience.

    cozy queen room
    beautifully designed hotel
    awesome breakfast
    limited privacy
    curtain instead of door

The cozy Queen Room was beautifully designed and overlooked a peaceful garden. The breakfast was the best we've had in the Baja, with fresh local dishes each morning.

The curtain instead of a door offered less privacy.

    would come back for sure

Beautiful stay! Luisa is the best host, super helpful. We loved the home cooked breakfast, family style. The Queen Room was cozy with air conditioning, private bathroom, and nice decor. The whole place is a perfect little oasis. Had a lovely time relaxing by the planned rooftop terrace. So worth it!
